They are heavily influenced by Chinese ink paintings and calligraphy due to the artist’s current exploration into Asian traditions and pop-culture. They take a humorous look at the evolution of the likeness of Buddha in popular imagery and in religious art, whilst examining the emerging generations romanticized and highly idealized knowledge level of the figurehead that shapes much of their belief systems.
